💡 Global warming has serious repercussions on the environment, LiDAR seems to be a new way to study them. LiDAR technology is used to observe and evaluate these changes. Indeed, since 2018, ice melting has been analyzed using lasers. Thus, the tool is first used to measure the composition of glaciers, then the data collected allows scientists to determine the speed of ice melting. These data are crucial to assess the impact of climate change!
