⛪ Five days after the fire that destroyed part of Notre Dame Cathedral, a point cloud of the cathedral was made to study the fire damage in detail. This was possible thanks to technologies such as LIDAR. Indeed, LIDAR allowed a virtual reconstruction of the cathedral which will allow the teams to have a detailed 3D model on which to proceed with the reconstruction of the cathedral.
