Ceci a été possible grâce à des technologies telles que le LIDAR. En effet le LIDAR a permis une reconstruction virtuelle de la cathédrale qui permettra aux équipes d'avoir un modèle 3D détaillé sur lequel s'appuyer au moment de procéder à la reconstruction de la cathédrale.
