Manufacturers are convinced that lidar is an essential solution for automated driving. BMW, Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Volvo, Toyota but also the Volkswagen group have decided to adopt this sensor, which complements cameras and radars to improve detection.
At the 2023 Consumers Electronics Show, several manufacturers will present their lidars, including Valeo, which will see its competition increase with the arrival of new solutions from Bosch and Continental.
