Did you know?

💡 It was already 10 years ago when LiDAR first laid its laser beams on Mars! In 2012, the robot Curiosity equipped with its ChemCam launched its Mars exploration. Thanks to its LiDAR technology, its quest for discovery had then begun under the dazzled eyes of the scientific community. Curiosity’s laser cam, ChemCam, was able to analyze the texture of the planet’s rocks and soils. Today, after 17 miles traveled and 10 years of research, the data collected has lifted the veil on the past of Mars… The planet would have been habitable! NASA has extended the mission up to 2025, Curiosity has not finished revealing the mysteries of the red planet…

PS: ChemCam is from Toulouse, France!
